Research interests

My main research interests are focused on forest dynamics and responses of forests to natural environmental conditions and anthropogenic impacts. For this purposed, I use tree rings, phenological observations, wood anatomical traits, radiocarbon, and isotope stable analysis together with computational tools.

Education

Teaching

I have dedicated a great time involving, motivating undergraduate students, and sharing my passion for science. I have organized student seminars, research study groups, and teaching. In particular, I taught the dendrochronology course at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Biophysics course at Universidad San Martín (Colombia). I also have taught in one dendrochronology workshop organized by Universidad Continental in Perú.
